We will not disclose, sell, share, transfer or rent your personal information to any third party. Jigstar Africa uses the details collected from you to complete your order. Information is also used to send you news and information on products and promotions.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Jigstar Africa shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Jigstar Africa shall also have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment received. If payment has been received for the purchase and your order is cancelled, JJigstar Africa will issue a refund 

Shipping

Orders will be shipped within 3 working days of confirmation of order subject to receipt of payment and availability of stock.  

Shipping within South Africa, at the discretion of Jigstar Africa, will be with The Courier Guy, PostNet Counter to Counter or Speed Services Post Office “Counter to Counter” Please be aware that Jigstar Africa is not responsible for shipping delays or for missing parcels or damage caused whilst in transit. Be assured that we will do everything possible to ensure your items are packaged with care to avoid any damage. Our shipping does not include insurance so we are unable to replace your order. If you wish to consider insurance then please contact us prior to shipping.

 For all deliveries within South Africa on orders up and including R1,750 a charge for shipping will be levied. Over R1,750 in South Africa shipping is free of charge.

You may collect your order from us once it is confirmed and payment has been received. The collection address is 346 Manitoba Drive, Faerie Glen, Pretoria 0043. Please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection.

Returns

You may return New Unopened items. with Tags attached within 7 days of receipt. We will process the Refund, less the cost of shipping, once we have received the goods. We will not cover shipping costs for returns, exchanges or repairs.

We will not accept any return/exchange after 7 days of delivery date, even if in brand new condition.

Promotions and Discounts

From time to time you may receive online offers and promotions, which may include a promotion code for use when placing an order. It is your responsibility to enter the code at the time of placing the order. The code cannot be applied after you have submitted the order. All codes are non-transferable, cannot be posted on forums or other websites and may not be used with other offers.

Warranties Rods

The rods featured on this website are manufactured to a high standard, made of Japanese graphite and resins to produce a high-class advanced rod. Like all top quality products they must be treated with care and used only for the purpose. However, if you do not take care of your rod, abuse it or use it over the recommended specifications it will break. Please avoid

• High Sticking the rod 
• Knocking the rod on hard surfaces
• Testing the rod with static weights 
• Manually bending the rod, including pulling on line to “test” Note this puts an unnatural bend in the rod – when the rod is fished it bends parabolically in to the butt.

Jigstar Rods - If your rod does break we offer a special replacement option at two thirds of the current retail price. This is irrespective of how the rod broke

Black Hole Rods - 1 Year Warranty. Only covers breakage due to fishing. 1st replacement is free (except for shipping cost) and 60% of retail price will be charged for 2nd replacement within a year from purchase date.

Warranties – Reels

The Alutecnos reels and Jigging Master Reels come with a 12-month warranty. The Jigging Master warranty excludes fibre washers and bearings. These warranties are against manufacturing defects and normal wear and tear. The warranties do not cover damage caused by transport or incorrect use of the reel. The warranties are not valid where the product has been tampered with or shows signs of unauthorized repair. Items returned under warranty must be accompanied by a photocopy of the Warranty Card (Alutecnos reels only) and a description of the defect.
